NO PHOENIX

Nothing else matters more than your own freedom. You must be willing to die for it. You won’t like to read that. You must be willing to be unspeakable: lose your name, your physical boundaries, your projects, and your stories.

Nothing is really yours, and it never was. Mere bubbles of dream.
What you are is unapprehendable. You must be willing to drop the conception of emptiness as well.

You must be brave enough to face your highest fear: to lose yourself into the unidentifiable, into the singularity from which everything emerges, the non-multiplicity of the world, the dis-appearances.

Are you willing to restrain, to inquire relentlessly about what makes your dramas and your joys? Are you willing to throw every point of view into the fire pit? Are you willing to set fire to everything you seemingly possess to discover your inner richness? Are you willing to chase the defilements of the mind so that they don’t eat you up?

Never neglect their power.

Never.
Never.
Never.

Don’t let negligence arise.

The “mine-making” process is so efficient that you’ll even make ignorance yours, which will keep you bound tight in self-illusion.
No-one will ever arise from the ashes. No phoenix to be reborn.
Be prepared to set everything on fire in order to detach for good from self-enslavement.

Resolve.
